車で移動できると自由度が倍増します。また、大人数で移動することで公共交通機関よりも格安になります。

レンタカーを利用する際に必要なもの

クレジットカードがないとレンタルできない場合があります。渡航前には最低でも一枚作っておきましょう。

レンタカーのルール説明

■The gas tank is full. You need to fill it up before you return the car. If you do not, we’ll charge you 5 dollars a gallon.
(ガソリンは返却前に満タンにしてください。もししなければ、1ガロン毎に5ドル支払っていただきます)

「deposit」=預け金のこと。レンタカーの際には、預け金が必要になります。基本的に違反や事故がなければ、請求されることはありません。

かなり強い言い方です。緊急時以外は使わないように。

take over=引き継ぐ。運転を代わってもらう際によく使います。

体調を表す形容詞

sleepy =眠たい
exhausted=とても疲れた
dizzy=目眩がする
feeling sick=気持ち悪い

イギリスではガソリンスタンドを「petro station」と言います。
